Fall is making it's presence known and it's time for OFFF (Oregon Fleece and Fiber Festival) in Canby, Oregon. All of my fiber buddies are attending and will actually be venders among the 100+ other venders. All summer was spent gearing up up for this weekend.

Picking the FleeceSpinningOFFF has everything for the fiber enthusiast. Fleeces, fiber, hand spun yarns, tools for spinning and knitting, and even classes if you've always wanted to spin but don't know where to start. The emphasis this year is Alpacas: there will be Alpacas there for people to check out. Although I was asked to attend this festival for the weekend with my buddies, I have decided to attend with VG and just spend Saturday roaming through all the "eye candy".
Last weekend was kind of a prep for OFFF.
Fiber Farm TourThere were four local farms featured in this tour, all having booths that offered everything from fiber, yarn, knitted items, organic produce, and some had live music. There were also classes offered for those interested in knitting, weaving and spinning. After all the hard work everyone put into the fiber tour they are now prepared for OFFF.
