We decided to head to Huckleberry Pass to see if there were any Tamarack trees which had transitioned a bit more than the those in the lowlands. Again, the day was gorgeous; reaching temperatures close to 70. Because the sun was so high in the sky the colors were very difficult to see.
Surprisingly, there were very few trees that had turned, so our focus changed to the beautiful farmland that stretched before us.
In addition to the abandoned barns and outbuildings.
And we also stumbled upon the occasional rusted vehicle.
It never ceases to amaze me, the treasures you find when you least expect it.
What a fun day...Aren't God's creations so beautiful? We'll be heading over in that direction in early December...probably hit snow the way the weather people are talking :)
