Today was the first "down day" I have had since before Christmas, all the Christmas stuff is packed away, so it was really nice to just hang out and knit. It was a good thing I didn't have anything pressing because it rained buckets here and I didn't want to step foot outside. So I hunkered down inside with my yarn and needles and the cat and dog curled up in front of the fire.
I'm hoping to start spinning next week so I can get some inventory built up to begin dyeing. This will be a new experience for me and I will be sure to post photos of the process and the results. Hopefully, Wednesday I will be purchasing the dye in several different colors. I really haven't set my mind on the colors I want to get---will just "wing" it and see what catches my eye. Will keep you posted.
